Construction of 405m m long marine bridge with a main navigational span of 121m constructed as a bow string structural form and 3 approach spans of 46 to 48m on either side. The piers supporting the main span is of single hollow wall with solid bearing shelf at deck soffit level. The piers of approach spans are of four solid reinforced concrete columns supporting individual bearing. Each pier is supported on a single reinforced concrete pile cap. The piers and abutments aresupported on a total of 180nos, 1200mm diameter bored cast in situ reinforced concrete piles with permanent steel casing.
