HHG in Joint Venture with Six Construct successfully completed the work of Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Bridge three months ahead of schedule. The road works element comprised 6.4km of dual three-lane highway and service road. The bridge width was set at 41m to accommodate a dual three-lane carriageway and two service roads and was completed in late 2004.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Bridge is considered as one of Bahrain’s strategic highway link connecting the King Fahad Causeway through Sh. Isa bin Salman Highway to the new port and industrial area situated in Hidd. It also contributes significantly to the development and growth of the Bahrain’s economy and facilitates the movement of internal and external trade as the third bridge linking Manama with Muharraq Island.
